ArcMold is a free 3D CAD specializing in mold design. Users can define parting lines, cores, cavities, and runner systems. The system’s “draft angle checker” ensures plastic parts have correct angles for ejection. A catalog includes standard mold components (ejector pins, slides). ArcMold supports basic volumetric shrinkage settings. While simpler than high-end mold solutions, ArcMold is enough for small injection molding shops or design students wanting a no-cost approach to basic mold layouts and draft validations.
