Blender

Blender is a free and open-source 3D creation suite that also includes basic audio editing features on macOS. While primarily for 3D modeling, animation, and VFX, it offers a Video Sequence Editor (VSE) where users can layer and adjust audio tracks, perform basic mixing, and add effects. Blender’s robust plug-in ecosystem expands its audio/video manipulation. Though not a dedicated DAW, its all-in-one approach makes it convenient for quick audio edits, especially in tandem with 3D or animation projects on Mac.
